SassyPgh Next Wednesday at @SassyPgh we’re talking CSS organization strategies: OOCSS, SMACSS, BEM, how they work, and how we can make them better.
@jina Greenify might help: https://t.co/dctX9N8xhg
twbootstrap Head on over to getbootstrap.com to peep that new BS3 RC1 hotness (note: we’re no longer on the Twitter GitHub org).
@wesbos Roger that, thanks for following up!
This Git cheat sheet is replacing my current one for sure: j.mp/174AKsT
@SassyPgh OOCSS, Smacss, BEM is my vote.
To all the people downloading IE11 from ModernIE today, here’s what to do with those crazy .SFX files: j.mp/1aMT2D5
@codebase If I get a Codebase subscription, are my @deployhq HQ deploys limited to my code on Codebase? Cc @kevinwhoffman
reybango We’ve updated modernIE with new ways to test IE, free IE11 VMs, @browserstack screenshot service, and more! bit.ly/1dXzf3s
@kevinwhoffman Yeah I will probably give it a whirl. Did you sign up with Codebase first then DeployHQ? Seems slightly cheaper…
@kevinwhoffman Niiice dude. Could I convince you to give me a demo at the next PGH event? :-)
@kevinwhoffman Haha. Every other time I try to use their service, it fails. I think I’d either pay $25/yr for a GUI or just use SSH. You?
Lot’s of love to the @emmetio Documentation. It shows you how to do something then lets you play. Code faster, dude: j.mp/18BhSIC
@robwierzbowski @kevinwhoffman @SassyPgh I feel like that’s all of us. Currently just “feeling it out.”
@kevinwhoffman @robwierzbowski I think the next @SassyPgh should be BEM vs SMACSS vs OOCSS etc etc. So many styles. Thoughts?
@wesbos Does Package Control > Upgrade Packages do the same thing or no?
@patrickfulton @brad_frost Haha! That is so totally awesome.
It’s better to use your Credit Card vs Debit Card for online purchases due to purchase/fraud protection: j.mp/13yfz4o
@MesuvaWebDev Whoa, hadn’t seen that one before. Nice. You might also want to check out PrePros, Codekit, and @TeamMixture.
@deploybutton This has been configuring for the last 2.5 days. What’s up? min.us/lPyA4fC0oJm7R
I’m realizing that the @BourbonIO docs are about 100x easier to understand than those from @compass. Likely to give Bourbon a try soon.
concrete5alert 5.6.2 Release Candidate Available: bit.ly/1bxeLSf
@AllyCare There is no form/option to select yes or no here = I cant login on an unregistered computer. cl.ly/QMhM On OSX, Chrome
@juanggiraldo @b_nelsen Freelance stuff: tweets.ajdwv.com/?s=freelance Apps: Ronin, Freshbooks, and probably many more.
Woohoo! The @contrastrebel site is back up. If you havent checked it out yet, now is the time. Take the pledge! j.mp/15OgkqK #a11y
@goradiantweb @concrete5 @DesignerDepot Maybe how to limit a clients ability to “design” with C5? In other words, how to lock it down.
@bokster1 Haha, yeah. That seems harsh but maybe it’ll make someone rethink their personal materials. #ToughLove
Here’s some sound, sound advice on how your job requirements should read: j.mp/15HWVWc (Hint: the “bad” example could be WVU’s!)
We’re all transfixed on performance and triple backwards backflips while we should be focused on design and UX: j.mp/14eKODq
@cwiniesd Chase, email cathy.orndorff@mail.wvu.edu by this Friday at noon expressing your interest. We can meet with you. Q’s just ask.
@juanggiraldo @b_nelsen Yes! That’s how you do it. Everyone else is missing out.
@juanggiraldo @b_nelsen Cool, thanks. Shoot me a text when you’re outside.
@juanggiraldo @b_nelsen Sounds like it’s just us tonight. I’m still sans car. Can anyone pick me up / ya’ll come here?
@juanggiraldo @Adam_Glenn @b_nelsen @stevenspriggs I feel like @wexcastro should come too.
TheTweetOfGod You do know you’re destroying your only home, right? Like, not abstractly. For reals.

If you don’t like how the latest version of Chrome hides your extension icons, here’s how to get them back: j.mp/12RvHKS
@juanggiraldo @Adam_Glenn @b_nelsen Yes and yes. Might need to hitch a ride with someone from here to MMD though.
@juanggiraldo @Adam_Glenn @b_nelsen I’m down. I’d also be down to get together & do a show and tell or something similar. cc @stevenspriggs

@sbspk Cheers!
@sbspk How about live refresh (+more) for simple HTML projects? Not all projects use preprocessors (unfortunately).
@robwierzbowski That was fast. Boom!
@2_71828182845 Nah, previous footers had “Last updated XYZ”. The new footers (like the one you referenced) don’t have the date.
@SoPlayNice Glad you found it useful James. Cheers!
RT @SassConf: Good Friday Morning! We’ve got a new workshop and a new panelist up on the site! Go check them out!

@colorcrate @Fontscom_tech +1 to improving the way fonts.com handles different font-weights. Holy smokes!
I’ve hated how you couldn’t easily center a floated element. Soon, we’ll be able to use “fit-content” to fix that: j.mp/12XTOpU
Pre-fab email copy to send to your clients (things like Declining a project, Dealing with late payments, etc): j.mp/14HP245
Blown away by the progress of Prepros (a preprocessing app like CodeKit). Now on Mac & Win + local device testing: j.mp/1a9ZhQZ
RT @CompassSusy: New alpha release: 2.0.0.alpha.3
Loaded with features, fixes, syntax improvements, & full test coverage.
Details: https:…
@juanggiraldo Sure thing. Only used it on one project so far though, so OMMV. :-)
@robwierzbowski Nice work Rob!
aaronmentele Remember when you could make a 5 minute change to a website in 5 minutes? Now, a 5 minute change takes 25 minutes. At least.
For those using the @mint app (I’m on Android, could be iOS too) you can have it auto refresh your accts. every 4 hours via app settings.
@SassyPgh Currently sans-car. Ya’ll have fun tonight.

Using the double dash (—) to signify a dependency in CSS is a good idea. Eg: .btn and .btn—primary. What are awesome, similar patterns?
