Looks like @filamentgroup has also done work on responsive navigation: buff.ly/zo84il (JS w/ fallback). This looks easier to style.

buff.ly/y4mXYl & buff.ly/KkRAtQ are two resources for responsive nav’s (saving space on mobile). The second doesn’t require JS.
